We kick off the first OFC Social Market in 2016 with a series of Food Talks, the first on the broad theme of artisans, and the authenticity in craftsmanship - we promise a night of story swapping!

A project coordinated by Huiwen, Chin of Eastern Granola and Crust Project, with
Selected Artisans from the local makers scene. Venue kindly sponsored by Revolution Coffee.

TOPICS/ PROGRAM
"Farm-to-Table"
In light of the Mast Brother’s chocolate remelting controversy, perhaps we question what “Bean-to-Bar” means. Where is the line where something is considered “farm-to-table”? How is that defined? Just how much of the process does the maker have to be involved in?

Random Selection
A fun addition to the talk, we invite speakers to pick from a random selection of words, and talk crazy about it.

Crust Shoutout
Ending off the session with a Crust Shoutout, taking stories around food and work, some stories we have include - Baking for the office and feminism, interviews with makers in the early days of their businesses and funny things like how to sneak in drinks at work :)
